Bond proposal rejected in Lake Central (Ind.) district

From The Gary Post-Tribune: Voters in the Lake Central (Ind.) district have rejected a proposed $95 million renovation of Lake Central High School in St. John. The school has around 3,200 students and is expected to gain about 300 in the next few years. The $95 million in bonds would have financed a new physical education complex, more classrooms and parking, and construction of a service center complex.
