Bus cuts means dangerous walks for children

A group ofLansing, Ill., parents knew the road to their children's school was treacherous, but actually embarking on the 2.5-mile route Wolcott School in Thornton cemented their resolve to make sure students don't have to walk it again. Parents from the Lansing subdivision organized a march to show the perils their children face walking to school since the district eliminated their bus route this year.
