Construction of building for USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance expected to begin in 2014

From The University of Southern California: Glorya Kaufman, a Los Angeles philanthropist, has donated millions of dollars to the University of Southern California to establish the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance. Kaufman declined to reveal the amount of her gift, but the university says that the amount is Kaufman’s largest gift to date. She has previously donated $20 million to Dance at The Music Center in Los Angeles. Construction of a new building to house the school is scheduled to begin in 2014, and the program plans to admit its first class of dance majors in fall 2015.
