Upgrades make facilities more appealing to students

From The Lexington Herald-Leader: The University of Kentucky in Lexington has installed air-conditioning units in Holmes Hall and Jewell Hall, the last two residence halls without air conditioning at any of the state's public universities. The upgrade cost $366,000 for 163 units in Holmes Hall and $130,000 for 54 units in Jewell Hall. Without air conditioners, the two halls had been a hard sell for students.
