Lawmakers approve funding for Michigan college construction projects

Six universities and a dozen community colleges would benefit
SixMichigan public universities and a dozen community colleges scored funding for some long-awaited campus construction projects under a bill that passed through the Legislature this week. If signed by the Gov. Jennifer Granholm, the bill would pave the way for $408 million in construction projects, with the state providing $220 million. To read The Detroit News article, click here.
