Lawsuit contends California education system is flawed

From The San Francisco Chronicle: A coalition of grassroots groups and families have sued the state of California in an effort to overturn the state’s educational system. The groups argue that the system should be declared unconstitutional for failing to adequately and equally fund schools. The suit is the second filed this year over what plaintiffs say is a broken public school system -- one that leaves too many children with less than a fair shot at a good education.
