New branch in Kyle, Texas, is on hold because of legal dispute

From The Austin American-Statesman: Austin (Texas) Community College pledged last year to build and open a campus in Hays County by fall 2013. But that was before a lawsuit challenged the election that annexed Kyle and the rest of the Hays school district into the community college's taxing territory. The college won the first round in court, but an appeal is pending. The upshot: Groundbreaking on the Kyle campus has been delayed indefinitely.
