The former Central Junior High in Lawton, Okla., is being turned into a community center that will include city offices and conference space. The school district is leasing the 65,000-square-foot building to the city. The renovation project is scheduled to be finished in the next year or two. When the project is complete, a larger conference room will be used by the school district and city offices will line the wide hallways of the school. The architect is Meyer Architects.
