From The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: The board of the Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School has fired the school's director, finance director, personnel director, compliance officer and a longtime lawyer. It's unclear whether the firings are connected to the search of the school in July by FBI and IRS agents. A federal grand jury is probing current or former executives of the school, which is based in Midland, Pa. Pennsylvania Cyber is a public school that does most of its teaching online and is open to students from throughout the state. It now enrolls 10,284 students, and 900 more are in the application process. Last year the school graduated nearly 1,300 seniors.
