Missouri district seeks money for second high school

The Liberty (Mo.) district has won voter approval of a $58 million bond proposal. The money will pay for the first phase
of Liberty’s second high school, a new elementary school, technology
upgrades and other improvements. Slated
to open in August 2010, the new high school will be built in two phases
because of state limits on bonding capacity. The district plans to have
another bond issue in 2010 to acquire funds for the second phase.
