Jan 27, 2012 3:02 PM

From The Chicago Tribune: A memorial statue to its students who died young has been stolen from the grounds of an elementary school in Lincolnwood, Ill. The statue, which depicts two children reading a book on a bench, was stolen sometime last weekend from Todd Hall School. The memorial was dedicated in May 2004 following the deaths of two students who died of cancer the previous year. There also are plaques for four other children on the memorial.
