Louisiana district seeks funds for two schools

The Livingston Parish (La.) district is seeking approval on Saturday of a $26 million bond proposal. The money would pay for a junior high school and an elementary school that would relieve crowding in the Denham Springs area of the district. Both schools would be built to open in 2008.
