$440 million bond proposal for Long Beach (Calif.) community college

The Long Beach (Calif.) Community College District is seeking voter approval Feb. 5 of a $440 million bond measure. The proposal, which requires a 55 percent majority for approval, would pay for several projects, including a new mathematics and technology classroom building, a new performing arts building, a 700-space parking structure and a new liberal arts classroom building.
