Ohio college still closed because of fire


Lorain County (Ohio) Community College remains closed because of an arson fire. Classes will resume Thursday.The fire caused $1 million in damage. Drew Manns, 24, of Elyria, was arrested in connection with the blaze. The fire erupted Feb. 18 in a tunnel under the business building and damaged the school's electrical grid. At least six buildings have smoke damage.

EARLIER: Classes at Lorain County (Ohio) Community College will be suspended at least through the weekend after a major fire Wednesday night. President Roy Church says the blaze damaged the electrical grid that serves the campus.The fire broke out in a tunnel beneath the college's business building. About six buildings sustained smoke damage. Officials had not made a damage estimate.
