Students say no to healthful lunch in Los Angeles

From The Los Angeles Times: For
many students, the Los Angeles Unified District's introduction
of healthful school lunches has been a flop. The healthful
alternatives are being rejected en masse, and participation in the
school lunch program has dropped by thousands of students. Principals
report massive waste, and an underground market for chips, candy,
fast-food burgers and other taboo fare is thriving. In response, the
district says it is revising the menu.
