Court ruling reinstates Loudoun County (Va.) district's suspension of student

From Leesburg Today: The Loudoun County (Va.) district's decision to suspend a high school student in for allegedly drinking alcohol on a 2009 school trip to France has been upheld, the Virginia Supreme Court has ruled. The judgment reverses a local court decision that overturned the suspension of the student, who has since graduated from Dominion High School. The student's mother, Eileen Tagg-Murdock, sued the school system to expunge her daughter's suspension. The student was one of 11 suspended for drinking alcohol on the trip. The high court ruled that Tagg-Murdock was too late in bringing a legal challenge of the suspension.
