Firm hired by Central school system is under investigation by state
From The Baton Rouge Advocate: Central (La.) Community School Board members have voted to stick with an architectural firm under investigation by the state Board of Architectural Examiners, as long as the firm agrees to pay expenses associated with the investigation. The will accept design development work on two new schools created by PBK, a Houston-based architectural and engineering firm that also has an office in Baton Rouge. It is under investigation for failing to have a license when it applied for the job of designing the $36 million middle and elementary schools.
