Low faculty pay to blame for teacher departures and $7 million funding drop at Iowa State

Iowa State University, Ames, saw 50 faculty members leave in the last academic year. ISU pays its faculty the lowest amount compared with its peer universities. The number of faculty departures is part of the reason the university’s external funding and research cash flow has dropped by $7 million in the last year.
