Louisiana State plans new gift center

Louisiana State University is planning to break ground next year on a 5,000-square-foot gift center on the Baton Rouge campus. The $1.32 million facility will have a Roman-arched exterior to blend in with the main campus and include 2,800 square feet of sales floor space and 2,000 square feet of storage. It is expected to open during the 2008 football season. The architect is Bayne Dickinson.
