Elementary school is to be built near former dump

From The St. Paul Pioneer Press: Mahtomedi (Minn.) school district officials are defending their decision to build an elementary school near a former dump; they say the school is not on contaminated land and that extensive cleanup work has been done on adjacent property. But some community members fear the site is not safe.
