Jun 15, 2010 12:44 PM

From The Gloucester Times: Manchester Essex (Mass.) Regional High School has received a state "Green Difference" award that recognizes it as one of the state's top three green schools. The school received the award after carrying out its green-team initiative. The school's construction includes high-efficiency lighting that dims depending on sunlight, low-flow faucets and toilets, a photovoltaic power system that provides 40,000 kilowatt hours of clean electricity.
