Kindergartner in Massachusetts dies of choking

A kindergartner in Marlborough, Mass., died Wednesday after choking while riding a bus home from Francis J. Kane Elementary School. Medical personnel responded immediately, but were unable to revive the 5-year-old boy, school officials say. The boy swallowed a "foreign object" that was not food.

UPDATE:  Holding the metal paper fastener believed to have choked her son to death, Sonja Cobb angrily blamed the city of Marlborough for the loss of the 5-year-old boy. Cobb says there should have been someone on the bus who knew first aid, and she vows to fight to have monitors placed on school buses.
