Marymount College campus sold

Tarrytown, N.Y., site will become a private language school

Fordham University has agreed to sell the historic Marymount College campus in Tarrytown, N.Y., for $27 million to EF Education, a private language school with 10 campuses in the country and 35 throughout the world. Marymount was founded as an independent women’s college a century ago. In 2002, it consolidated with Fordham, a Jesuit school, which closed Marymount last year.
