Massachusetts approves 4 new charter schools

Campuses will open in Springfield, Lowell, Holyoke and Boston

News release: The Massachusetts Board of Elementary and Secondary Education has approved four new charter schools. Baystate Academy Charter School will open in 2013 in Springfield for grades 6-12. The Collegiate Charter School of Lowell will open in 2013 for grades K-12. The Paulo Freire Social Justice Charter School will open in Holyoke in 2012 for grades 9-12. The Dudley Street Neighborhood School will open in Boston in 2012 for grades K-5.
