Illinois district will replace building housing transportation and maintenance

The Mattoon (Ill.) district is planning to build a new transportation, maintenance and food service building. Officials say that building a $1.72 million facility and demolishing the old building would cost less over the next decade that renovating the existing facility and paying the utility costs it would generate. The architect is Gibraltar Design.
