Memphis looks at school construction plan

Committee reviews $63 million in proposed projects.

A Memphis Board of Education committee is looking at a plan that could bring $63 million worth of new school construction and renovations. The top priority is a $24 million replacement for Colonial Middle School, which the staff says is in such disrepair that renovations can't save it.
