Metal detectors added at Connecticut high school

Security boosted at East Haven high in response to student arrests

Students, faculty and staff atEast Haven (Conn.) High School, will go through metal detectors as they enter school. The equipment was installed following the arrest Tuesday of two students on weapons theft charges. Police recovered a rifle from one of the youths, but five handguns also stolen have yet to be found.
