Mid-Del (Okla.) district seeks $191 million bond issue

District wants to build four new elementary schools and expand two existing middle schools

FromKFOR-TV: The Midwest City-Del City (Okla.) School Board has scheduled a $191 million bond election for Dec. 14. The money would be used to build four new elementary schools and expand two existing middle schools. Construction would be complete in 2013. When those facilities are finished, the district plans to close four elementary schools and two middle schools that are nearly 50 years old.
