District says it will save $1.3 million by shutting down Oneida Middle

From The Albany Times-Union: Oneida Middle School in Schenectady, N.Y., will be shuttered this week after 89 years. The district announced earlier this year it would save $1.3 million by moving seventh- and eighth-graders to Mont Pleasant Middle School, two magnet schools and two elementary schools.
