From The Baton Rouge Advocate: A 15-year-old boy who critically wounded himself after allegedly shooting at a teacher in a Louisiana middle school apparently worked alone and was intent on killing. Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre says authorities found a blueprint for the attack, along with a journal, in the boy’s knapsack after the shootings at Larose-Cut Off Middle School. The suspect, whose identity has not officially been confirmed, shot himself in the head shortly after 9 a.m. Monday. He is hospitalized in critical condition.
