From The Biloxi Sun-Herald: A former finance manager of the Bay-Waveland (Miss.) School District has been charged with embezzling more than $22,000 by making false entries in school financial records and shuffling funds in accounts to hide the missing money. Linda Gavagnie, 55, was the finance manager for the Bay-Waveland School District from January 1994 to Septemer 2007, when she resigned.
