Mobile County leases high school to state of Alabama for one year

State will use facility to conduct job training for steel mill workers

TheMobile County (Ala.) school board has approved a plan to lease Shaw High School to the state for a year to conduct job training for ThyssenKrupp AG while the company's steel mill is under construction. School officials said they'll use the year that ThyssenKrupp occupies Shaw to plan a curriculum for a new school, possibly a career-technical magnet school, in the building.
