Poor finances have forced nearly 30 schools to close since 2009
From The Daily Oklahoman: Financially strapped school districts in Oklahoma have closed nearly 30 schools since 2009, and more than a dozen others are on the chopping block, officials say. Budget cuts and a loss of stimulus dollars have tightened finances, forcing the cutbacks.
