MARCH 2009...from The Cleveland Plain Dealer: Cleveland State University plans to create a more residential feel by tripling on-campus housing. A section of campus now dominated by surface parking lots would be transformed with apartments built around a new baseball field. The southern edge of the newly envisioned campus also would have more housing for students. In all, about 2,500 people could live on the revamped campus. Currently, Cleveland State houses only about 850 students in its two residence halls.
