Former charter school official in Michigan faces criminal fraud charges

From mlive.com: The former director of a charter school in Muskegon Township, Mich., faces multiple felony charges of fraudulently obtaining state school aid and falsifying school records. The 10 felony and high court misdemeanor charges against Barbara Stellard, who ran the WayPoint Academy charter school, were brought by the Michigan Attorney General’s Office and stem from reports filed in 2008. WayPoint serves students in grades 6 to 12.
