Bonds would pay for upgrades at Napa Valley community colleges

Voters in the Napa Valley (Calif.) Community College District will decide the fate of a $178.4 million school bond issue on Feb. 5. The money would enable the system to expand the its nursing program, upgrade its solar electric generating system, improve electrical systems and wiring for computer technology, renovate science classrooms and labs and add classrooms and labs for health care, high tech, alternative energy and other areas of study.
