Applications for 10 new schools were under consideration

From The Nashville Tennessean: The Metro Nashville school board has approved two of 10 applications for new charter schools, giving the stamp of approval to Intrepid Preparatory Charter School and Nashville Classical Charter School. The district’s charter school review committee also had recommended approval for a second KIPP Academy school, but the board voted to deny the application.
