Catholic high school in Brooklyn will remain open

From The New York Post: Nazareth High School in Brooklyn will remain open. School principal Providencia Quiles has announced that the board of trustees voted to keep the Catholic high school open for at least the next four years. In February, the school was slated for closure because of declining enrollment. The administration had to meet three criteria in order to win a reprieve: an enrollment of 80 students for next year; $700,000 in fundraising money; and a strategic plan to keep the school running for the near future.
