Nevada university to close equine center

Budget cuts force move by University of Nevada, Reno
The University of Nevada, Reno will be getting out of the business of boarding horses and giving riding lessons when it closes its Equine Center next year. The latest victim of budget cuts, the 12-acre facility is scheduled to close June 30, 2009. The Equine Center, established more than 40 years ago, is part of the College of Agriculture, Biotechnology and Natural Resources.To read The Reno Gazette-Journal article, click here.
