HIllside Elementary will replace aging Little Butte facility

From The Medford Mail-Tribune: The Eagle Point (Ore.) school board has approved the design for a new elementary school. Hillside Elementary School, which will replace Little Butte Elementary, will be about 54,000 square feet with 22 to 24 classrooms, shared spaces with skylights and gabled roof. Students are expected to move in by winter 2012. The architect is BBT Architects. To help pay for the construction, the school district is using $12 million of insurance proceeds from a fire at Eagle Point Junior High eight years ago.
