New elementary school planned in Middleburg, Pa.

Nov. 28, 2010
Existing Middleburg Elementary is too small and needs significant upgrades.

From The Daily Item: The Midd-West (Pa.) district is preparing to build a new Middleburg Elementary School. The existing school, built in 1954, with a library added in 1976, has failing infrastructure, including a leaky roof that has caused concerns among parents regarding their childrens' health and safety. The district also says a bigger building is needed to accommodate the growing student enrollment.
