New school in New Haven (Mich.) district needs to have its own sewage system built

From The Detroit News: The New Haven (Mich.) district's Endeavour Middle School in Ray Township is on schedule to welcome students in September, but the district's plans to connect the newly built $26 million facility into the Detroit Water and Sewerage system have been thwarted. The district didn't receive approval from Macomb County officials to connect to the sewer system, so crews have begun work on an on-site sewage system that will cost taxpayers $600,000 and $800,000.
