New high school ready to open in Ankeny, Iowa

275,000-square-foot school will accommodate 1,400 students

From The Des Moines Register: The new Ankeny (Iowa) High School, scheduled to open later this summer, reflects the efforts of teachers, former students and other community members to create a layout that will best serve students. The 275,000-square-foot school is built to serve up to 1,400 students; only juniors and seniors will be at the school for the 2011-12 and 2012-13 years.
