Revised regulations released for New Jersey anti-bullying law

From The Newark Star-Ledger: The New Jersey Attorney General’s Office has revised regulations that spell out how school officials and law enforcement should work together and coordinate investigations to abide the state's Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act. Previously, school personnel would step aside when a potentially criminal act occurred to let law enforcement investigate. Now, schools are expected to adhere to a 10-day reporting rule using whatever information is available, while police investigate concurrently. If the outcome of a criminal investigation warrants it, a school may amend its original disciplinary report.
