New Orleans public school campuses survived Hurricane Gustav with broken tree limbs and windows and minor roof damage, officials say. Apart from a few repairs, the buildings need electricity to reopen next week. The damage caused by Gustav was considerably less serious than the flooding and destruction Hurricane Katrina brought three years ago.
