New school dedicated in West New York, N.J.

Public School No. 4 has room for 705 students

A new elementary school, Public School No. 4, has opened in West New York, N.J. The 126,352-square-foot facility will house 705 students in grades prekindergarten to 6. The school includes general classrooms, an art room, music room, technology lab, two science labs, and family and consumer science rooms. It also features a cafeteria/auditorium, two computer rooms, a gymnasium, a library/media center with a walkout terrace, six small-group instruction rooms and an occupational therapy room. It also includes underground parking and administrative rooms, including a nurse's station.
