New school ready to open in Woodworth, La.

Rapides Parish district is finishing construction on Caroline Dormon Junior High

From The Alexandria Town Talk: The Rapides Parish (La.) district is finishing construction of Caroline Dormon Junior High School, scheduled to open later this summer in Woodworth. The 50,000-square-foot, $8 million school sits on land donated by the U.S. Forest Service's Kisatchie National Forest, and the design has a forest theme. Officials anticipate that work on the school will be complete by the first day of school, Aug. 17.
