$20 million donation will help bring new facility to Cleveland campus
From The Cleveland Plain Dealer: A $20-million gift will bring a new student center to Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. Tinkham Veale II, through the Veale Foundation, pledged the gift. Two buildings on the campus -- the Veale Convocation, Recreation and Athletic Center and the Veale Natatorium -- already are named for the 95-year-old donor. The university center is expected to cost about $50 million and probably will be ready to open in four to five years.
