Parents don’t want charter school in New York City school facilty

From The New York Daily News: Teachers and parents say a dilapidated school in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn will fall apart if the city adds a charter school to the building next year. The New York City Department of Education plans to install Teaching Firms of America Charter School in Public School 308 in September 2011. Opponents say the PS 308 building is too decrepit and too small to handle any more students.
