New York City identifies 47 schools that may be closed

From The New York Times: The list of public schools in New York City at risk of being closed down has risen to 47. The number of schools grew from 20 after the city’s Department of Education added high schools, charter schools and more middle schools to the list. The list is generated annually and eventually narrowed to the before city officials announce which schools actually will close.
